Faith is more than what happens on Sunday mornings. It's a part of who we are, inside and out. At Greenville United Methodist Church, we believe in sharing the joy of the Gospel daily and living a life that embodies the spirit of Christ.
Greenville UMC shares a local charge with the Cherry Lake (FL) United Methodist Church. The two congregations share and support the pastorship of Cherryl M. Register, who resides in the Cherry Lake parsonage.
As the visible presence of the body of Christ, the local church is the place where members grow in faith and discipleship, putting their faith into action through ministry in the world.
Therefore, the local church is to minister to persons in the community where the church is located…to cooperate in ministry with other local churches…and to participate in the worldwide mission of the church... (2012 Book of Discipline)
